I hate PARTNERWORK classes. That being said, I loved TNT's advanced kick-ass class! Serious spin drills that improved my spinning skills noticeably and lots of personal input also for ladies to correct their technique. Where else do you get that? The first partnerwork class that I left excited and exhausted instead of bored in a very long time!
SHINES choreographed to a specific piece of music are a fantastic way to emphasize the importance of dancing to and feeling the music instead of just repeating previously learned sequences. Here my body becomes my instrument to interpret the music!
Feeling comfortable On2, I thought I wouldn’t need the CONVERSION class. Pah! I learned so much about musicality! Well worth attending not only for on 2 beginners - amazing pedagogy and a whole lot of fun.
THE SOCIAL: My favourite social in Europe!!! An entire night purely On2 allows me to feel the music in a much more intuitive and intensive way without the constant and disrupting switching of mind sets typical of any other good salsa place - particularly helpful for freshly converted ones. All honestly, I even schedule my trips to London around Tuesday nights where possible. I know I will meet most of my favourite and some of the best London dancers at the Boston and in contrast to many bigger events, I will actually get chances to grab them. This crowd creates a unique atmosphere - it is one of the spots where I feel genuinely at home in London.
